Student restaurant Carelia is a student and staff restaurant in Yliopistokatu 4 in Joensuu. We are operating in the Carelia building of the university of Eastern Finland. We cater students, personnel and visitors. Welcome!

A subsidised student meal includes a main dish, side salad, salad dressing, bread and a spread, and a drink. The meal subsidy is available at the checkout when presenting a valid student card approved for Kela’s meal subsidy, or a meal subsidy card issued by Kela.
Kela’s student meal subsidy is 2.80 € per meal.
