Jaana Korhola has decided to step down from her position as the Managing Director of Compass Group Finland, after leading the company successfully for 13 years. The last two years were affected by Compass business integration and Covid-19. Hannu Rahnasto has been appointed the new Managing Director from October 25th, 2021 onwards. Hannu Rahnasto has been with the company for several years and until recently he has been in the position of Director of Operations.
“With his background from Industry since 2013 and his great achievements in Strategic development, Sales & Retention and Operations, I’m certain that we have the best MD to rebuild Finland and bring the country to the next level. Receding MD Jaana Korhola has had a remarkable career in the food service industry supporting the wellbeing of Finns, and she has acted as the company’s MD since 2008. Jaana will continue working as a senior advisor in the company for the following six months in order to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
“It has been an honour to have a meaningful career in the everyday life of Finns in their different stages of life. I have witnessed the development of Finnish food culture from canteens to restaurants, and towards a more plant-based and healthier direction. Most of all, I am grateful to our personnel and I also wish to express my thanks to our clients.
